Mr. Suskind is a 1971 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. He also served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Suskind practices in the areas of elder and disability law, estate planning and settlement, personal income taxation, and real estate law. He often speaks to community and professional groups concerning his areas of practice. Mr. Suskind counsels individuals and families about managing the costs of nursing home and assisted living care and advises clients about Medicaid and Veterans benefits. He also assists families with trusts or other means of enhancing the lives of people with special needs.
He is a past President of the Licking County Bar Association and has served as Solicitor for the Villages of Utica and Croton, Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (member, Elder Law Committee), American Bar Association, National Association of Tax Professionals, and National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Mr. Suskind is active in his community, serving on the boards of directors of The Midland Theatre and the Carol Strawn (Alzheimer's) Center. He is a member of the Licking Memorial Hospital Development Council.
He and his wife Beth live in Newark and have four grown children.
